Memoirs of G.R. Williams

This is not so much a blog as somewhere to publish the memoirs of my grandfather, G.R. Williams.

  1. I have just discovered this in 2017, and have been fascinated for many reasons. One is that in the 1940s I was a near neighbour of the Williams family, and played with Una and Nest on the street in Alan Rd. So, if Una happens to read this (or indeed any other members of the family) I’d be happy to be contacted at petergriffith941@gmail.com

  2. I went to Capel Newydd where G.R was a deacon. Hewas the most educated perdon in Llandeilo in the 1950,s I lived near my cousin Richard i Latimer Road and went to the primary and Grammar School with Una and Nest! Dear memories of Alan Road! They called me Day Myrddin. Remember?? Cariad Fawr! Dai

  3. I was most interested to see a reference to my late father, “Ernie Delves”, towards the end of Chapter 5 (Grammar School)- in Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth – at the time my parents lived in nearby Penrhyncoch.
